St. Margaret’s Center for Holistic Health and Wellness does not deny behavioral health care services because of a person’s inability to pay for such services. We will bill your insurance company as a courtesy to you and will do everything possible to expedite your claim. But you should remember that your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company and you have the final responsibility for payment of any remaining balance.
Financial Arrangements
You should familiarize yourself with the terms of your insurance coverage. This will help you understand our billing procedures and charges. If there is a question about your insurance coverage, a member of St. Margaret’s Patient Accounts Department or a representative from Arukah Institute will contact you or a member of your family. There is information we will need to process your claim.
For all other billing and insurance questions, or if you need to speak to someone about a bill or insurance, please contact Arukah: (815) 872-2943 or St. Margaret’s Patient Accounts Center: (815) 664-1575. There may be payment limitations on behavioral health services that are provided.
If You Have Health Insurance
We will need a copy of your insurance identification card. Benefits are assigned from the insurance company directly to the Arukah and St. Margaret’s Health. Within 45 days after billing, you will be billed for any balance due. If you have not provided us with adequate information to bill your insurance company, we will bill you.
If You Are Covered by Medicaid/Medicare: We need a copy of your Medicaid/Medicare card to verify eligibility and to process your claim. Deductibles and co-payments also are the responsibility of the client or St. Margaret’s Patient Accounts Center: (815) 664-1575.
If You Have No Insurance
A representative from Arukah or St. Margaret’s Patient Accounts Center will discuss financial options and arrangements with you.
