He attended medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford, IL and then graduated from the University of Iowa Family Medicine\/Psychiatry Residency Program.<\/p><div>Dr. Shepherd returned to the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford as an Assistant Clinical Professor. He currently works sees patients at the University in Student Health and Wellness.\u00a0 In the past,\u00a0 he has worked as a staff physician at KSB Hospital \u2013 Mt. Morris Clinic in Mt. Morris, IL, at the Winnebago County Jail as a psychiatric consultant, and at the former University Psychiatric Services in Rockford. He also is currently serving as a psychiatric consultant at the Illinois Veteran\u2019s Home in Lasalle and as the medical director for the Center for Holistic Health and She went on to Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing where she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Student Senator, Student Representative on the College Board, and Vice President of the Multi-Cultural Student Association, and graduated with honors with her Bachelor and then Master degree.A member of the Neuroscience Education Institute and Psychiatric Nurses Association, she has been Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Nurse Practitioner and treats patients across the lifespan with privileges at St. Margaret\u2019s Health in Spring Valley and Peru, and at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford. Jamie has experience with in-patient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, as well as outpatient treatment.
